Handmade Monday again.

I have nothing ready for showing this week so am going to cheat a little and show you something I finished months ago but I did screw the hinges on this morning, only because my friend for whom I did it was asking nicely how much longer it would be. lol.
It is not very good as not my field of expertise but I had a go.

Go to http://www.1stuniquegifts.co.uk/blog/ to see all the other goodies.

Any reader from CF will know I have been shovelling out my workroom for the last week or so, well I have finally finished.
I took a few quick pics so it can be seen before it gets messy again which will probably be tomorrow. lol.
The worktops look bare because my sewing machines are adorning the dining table due to the inclement weather i.e. it was too cold out there.  I do have heaters but they cost a fortune to run.

I have worked it out, it will only remain that tidy for 18 hours.  Such a shame.

I thinkI will get these framed to remind me what it should look like.

  1. Your stool is fab, well done. I want to go mess up your craft room too please, can imagine the mess I could make in there. Today I am collaging in the kitchen, good job I have nobody here to feed today! I lost the table hours ago and now the work tops are full too. My craft room is too dark in the winter (my excuse for not tidying yet)

  4. That is not natural... you can walk on the carpet and you can see where things are...I am now on a tremendous guilt trip because my room (AKA the dining room) is not like that. *Hangs head in shame*

  7. So the question is - is it going to stay that tidy? I am with Ros, sorry by my work space is like a family of little monsters have nested and bred in all my boxes etc.

  8. I know what you mean, craft rooms just don't stay tidy - must be the gremlins that wait for you to finish. Certainly true in my case!

  16. Carol thats a great room to work in but I agree it's a bit on the cold side at the mo and you're much better where the heat is, Love the stool, it reminds me of a piano stool I had years ago.

Thank you for your nice comments on my blog and yes I think I will frame the pic from my grandson as it's the first picture he's sent me.
