5th Feb. Handmade Monday

I am still making dressing gowns, 2 down, one to go and will show the last two later in the week if I get them completed.  I would have had one ready but the snow prevented me from going across the yard to my workroom for red cotton.  Well, thats my excuse anyway but in the meantime I have cobbled together a birthday card for my one and only Granddaughter.  I use the word "cobbled" as I am definately not a card maker as you can see but needed something for Handmade Monday and was the only thing I could offer at this late stage of the game. Critiques not requested. lol.

    Dressing gowns sounding great, look forward to viewing them. The card is great, my Mum makes amazing cards and is a real critic on some of the ones she see's out there, but she would be really impressed with yours.

    No snow here, but really icy underfoot.

    I can still fit into my aged 10 year old dressing gown from M&S... do you think he would miss it, if I borrowed it for the cold snap? It is really lovely :)

    What a super dressing gown! All warm and snuggly - just what's needed atm. Pretty card too - wish her a Happy Birthday - I SO remember being 15 - one of my best years!

    If that is 'cobbling' together a card then cobble away, she'll be really pleased with it I'm sure.
    The DG is lovely, it looks the perfect thing to snuggle into.

    I think the card is just fine! It beats the heck out of most of mine. In fact, I like the idea with the lace and am going to *borrow* that! :) The dressing gown is awesome, and I won't be borrowing that since it's way past my skill set!
